I didn't get to finish the textures in time,but at least i was
able to get the model under 12000 tris .

I really like the amount of detail that was put into the front
tentacles as well as the face of the kraken.
I also really like how all of the wrinkles on the kraken are
clearly displayed in detail.
Overall, awesome job. :)

I think you did a good job editing the model in Maya the UVs are
laid
out nicely and the model in Z-Brush looks solid too
