       Bouncing Ball Issue

I'm working on the bouncing ball mini-project and encountered a
problem. When I put the rendered targa pictures into Adobe
Premiere, the plane the ball bounces on turns black, and the
ball's shadows turn into the background image. I don't think
this is a problem with Maya, as the rendered targa files alone
look as they're supposed to when opened with Photoshop. But when
the targa files are put into Adobe Premiere the image changes. I
used the "Open Road.jpg" image as my background. Could this have
to do with the targa file format, and is this happening to
       anyone else?

I also redid the bouncing ball project and had the background as
the "streetlights.png" image. The black plane isn't as
noticeable due to streetlights.png's dark-colored road, but its
still there. It looks like the black plane also appears in the
       tutorial video.

If you render out as a Targa your transparency on your platform
will be keyed out when you move it to premier. The easiest fix
for this at this point would be to create another video layer
beneath that with the still image of your road for the duration
       of your video.
