       [center]Autodesk Maya Tips and Tricks
       [font=comic sans ms]Want to undo more in Maya but it says there
       is nothing left to undo?
       -Go-to the windows drop down, settings/preferences > preferences
       > undo > queue size(enter whatever value you want)
       !Note: DO NOT set it to infinite, this uses a lot of memory
       which can lead to crashes!
       Want to import a Maya model from a newer version of Maya to an
       older version?
       -Go-to the windows drop down, settings/preferences > preferences
       > files/projects > tic Ignore Version on
       !Note: There will still be errors with the rollback and the
       model may need some work!

       Here is a select few that I use:
       z = Undo
       Shift+z = Redo
       g = Repeat Last
       Ctrl+d = Duplicate
       q = Select Tool
       w = Move Tool
       e = Rotate Tool
       r = Scale Tool
       +/- = Increase/Decrease Manipulator Size
       Insert = Move Pivot Point
       1 = Standard Quality View
       2 = Smooth Quality With Cage
       3 = Smooth Quality
       4 = Wireframe View
       5 = Shaded View
       6 = Textured View
       c = Snap to Curves
       x = Snap to Grids
       v = Snap to Points
       F9 = Vertex Selection
       F10 = Edge Selection
       F11 = Face Selection
       F12 = UV Selection
       Alt+Up/Down/Left/Right = Move Selection Up/Down/Left/Right one
       pixel (Relative to Camera)
       Page Up/Page Down = Increase/Decrease Level for Smooth View

       Alt+B to change the color of your viewport.
       also, just pressing b will enable soft select.
