       WIP still life

So here's a still life I've been working on. I went by the same
rules as the first year still life project. I use some mia
materials for the glass and metal and rendered it in mental ray.
I'm still working with the lighting. My goal is to make it the
lamp the obvious main light source in the scene and to create
that translucent glow that lamp shades have when the light is
       turned on. Critique away! :D

This is great start I love the layout!
A few pointers I want to throw out there (you might have
already knew this and I apologize if you do!) is with the lamp
shade and the rose petals. I would consider some refracting in
the lamp shade, enough so you can see a silhouette inside of it.
The light needs to come out somehow right ;) . For the rose
petals, there are many ways to achieve the flower look.
Personally I love subsurface scattering because you can get
really detailed on how much you want to see through it, but if
you aren't going for that look then refraction again is the best
and easiest route to go to since flower petals are thin and see
       through.

I really like how its coming along. The colors fit together well
and the detailing on everything is very nice.
What i would suggest is to stretch out the tallness of the cup
part of the wine glass, as it feels a bit too stout compared to
its stem. i would also play around with the lighting on the
perfume bottle, as it seems like it has a lot of detail, but it
gets a bit lost with the amount of light it reflects.
I like how naturally everything is placed, it showcases the
items nicely, without giving too much clutter to the image.
