BDMS No way or perhaps just a little way?

I have always said "No way" to BDMS.
Some pros offer full BDMS
Some won't contemplate it at all.
Third category is those pros who say no to Full BDMS but they
will touch upon some areas of it.
Regarding the heavy stuff: People being urinated upon and made
to clean dog's muck off someone's boots, I won't offer any
comment but most if not all on this as yet small site (soon to
grow, we hope) will know me well enough to know my feelings on
all this without me saying anything.
However, what about "tie and tease" which can take various
forms, I think without knowing too much about it. I am not sure
that being secured and tickled with a feather would do much for
me but it is surely less objectionable to the vanilla brigade
than some of the heavy BDMS. Maybe there are other areas of
BDMS that are a bit more "palatable" for the want of a better
word? OK now to my question: "Are there some areas of BDMS that
are not quite as bad as might at first appear and should we
possibly be just a teeny bit more open minded to some of the
lighter stuff such as "tie and tease"? Can anyone who knows more
about BDMS highlight other lighter areas of it that might be OK
to consider. Please note that I am not an expert on this and am
most unlikely to ever be so but just asking for the views of
others really to see what they think about this.

If you want BDSM, there are sites for this, this site is NOT
anything to do with BDSM, I don't offer it and its absolutely
nothing to do with spanking. Spanking is solely spanking, with
or without roleplay. BDSM (I know very little about it) is tying
people up and sexual.
Why has BDSM even been bought up on here?
I'm confused.

Apologies - take it off now if it is not appropriate!
No, I do not want BDMS. I don't even know what it is but I do
know that it can be very unpleasant or unpalatable in extreme
form.
It is just that a friend who has never had BDSM before suggested
that perhaps there is not quite such a sharp line dividing CP &
BDMS.
He said that being tickled with a feather was Ok which surprised
him but as said, just take the thread off- no problem there,
