Glad to hear that you are mending, Jon, so hopefully you have
not on this occasion had to use up any of your imaginative
excuses such as falling off your horse onto a pile of flint
stones! I did fall off my friend's horse not too long ago and
did damage to my ankle - I always try to keep my backside safe
for other activities!
I would not have expected anything other than perfectly parallel
cane marks from Krystal who is undoubtedly very accomplished and
increasingly well practised. I am looking at itineraries and it
is indeed a bit of a haul from the deep south west but I will be
stocking up on witch hazel etc and am certain that Krystal will
ensure that I come away with perfectly parallel cane marks as a
testimony to her accuracy.
I am clinging to one last chance, however, and I know that
Krystal is a bit young for memory loss due to senility but I am
hoping that by the time of my visit, she may have temporarily
mislaid her cane or even (the way she is going lately) worn it
out!! :)) I understand that there is some delay regarding
replacements - I definitely read that somewhere- so the timing
of my visit will be crucial if I am to escape being caned when I
visit! ;D

I have 4 canes, 1 only comes out on 'special' occasions!
And slowcoach you seem 'special' to me so it will make an
appearance >:D

You must be special. I have only seen three and felt two.
Maybe Slowcoach is hoping for an upgrade to special.

On the contrary, I have been advised by the one who owns the
canes to keep my head down at current time so I don't think that
now is the right moment for me to make application for promotion
beyond that of my existing status. I fear that it is already too
late to keep head down
but I do not wish to exacerbate my current difficulty! :))

Oh, dear! When will I ever learn to shut up, keep mouth shut and
maintain a low profile.
As my very good American friend would say: "You've gotten
