The Night Forest Pack- Based on the Raised by Wolves series-
Just jump right in!

The Forest Night Pack is not your ordinary wolf pack- no, it is
your ordinary werewolf pack. These werewolves live in an
exceptionally large forest, which is necessary for them to hunt.
Nearby is a village, which the werewolves only go to in
emergencies.
There are few female werewolves, so naturally there are few
Weres with both parents as werewolves. Most other Weres have a
human mother, except for the ones that have been Changed by
another werewolf, which happens very, very few times without the
attacked human dying. The majority of female Weres are usually
Changed, since for a female Were to be born naturally, she MUST
be half of a set of twins. The only time that a non-Changed
female Were can be born without a twin is if the female Were's
mother was Changed, as far as I know.
Based on the Raised by Wolves series by Jennifer Lynne Barnes,
where I got werewolf info from. I do not take credit for the
werewolf info.
If you post here, please say if your character is Were-short for
werewolf-or human, and whether he/she lives in the village, is
married to a male Were, or is a werewolf. If your character is a
werewolf, please also add the wolf form's body color, and
whether he/she is a Changed Were, which means that he/she was
once a human, but a werewolf attacked the human and Changed
him/her.
There are no official ranks besides the alpha, who basically is
the leader of the Pack. I'll RP the alpha, so that you guys have
an understanding of the alpha's role in the Pack.
I would highly suggest that you read the Raised by Wolves
series, or even the Twilight series, but this is only to gain
more werewolf info. I would not recommend reading the Twilight
series for info, just because there are differences between the
two series.
So... if you have any more questions, either ask me, or read the
series! Otherwise, just start posting right away! Oh, and the
werewolves live in their own village, deep in the woods. They
have people names, like Nicole, Jacob, Andrew, etc., although
the names can be slightly exotic, like from another language, or
made up, but not too wild!

Pandr, the Alpha of the Night Forest Pack, slipped quietly out
of his house, waiting at the door to make sure that his
daughter, Briel, only eleven-years-old, was still asleep. He had
Pack business to check on, and he didn't want her involved.
His mind remembered the day when Briel's mother, Kelly, a human,
but with connections to another Pack, had taken Briel's twin
brother, David, to the Falling Water Pack, a loss that the Night
Forest Pack had greatly felt, as if one of their own had died.
And in a way David had died, for Pandr had had to remove all
claim to his son, letting Gabe, the young Alpha of David's new
Pack, claim David as his own. Kelly had pretty much forced him
to, for her sake.
Now Pandr realized that letting David go had been a huge
mistake, but if anyone in the Pack he ruled objected, it had
better be silently, or else it would taken as a challenge to
Pandr, where only one wolf could live. Anyways, at least he
still had Briel-- but whenever he was thinking about Gabe, his
wolf bristled. You see, male Weres are not meant to let their
mates-human, Were, whatever-leave them. They are mates for life.
So, even though Kelly was in a different Pack, Pandr's wolf
still thought Kelly was his mate. Down in the forest, with only
other Weres and human wives around, the Night Forest Pack became
more wolfish, and used 'mates' instead of 'husband and wife',
but in the town, life was different.
Pandr stepped off his porch and headed purposefully towards
another, close by, house. The closer your house was to the
Alpha's, the higher your ranking was.

Briel sighed, then rose from her bed as her Alpha headed down
the path. She quickly dressed in an old, tattered white dress:
the standard clothes for a female Were who planned to Shift that
day. Most werewolves would notice, but really wouldn't mind or
care, since as the Alpha's daughter, and now only child, Briel
was permitted to Shift as often as she wanted.
Yes, being the Alpha's pup certainly had its drawbacks, but also
certain permissons, she thought as she hurried after her Alpha.
Briel thought of Pandr as her Alpha, not as her father, as was
expected when she was a Were pup. Later, when she was much
older, perhaps Pandr would be 'father' to her instead of
'Alpha'. But old Weres were permitted not to think of their
leaders as Alphas, after all, they had served a good, long life
to their Packs. The other group that was permitted not to think
of Alphas as Alphas was Alphas themselves, of course.
The young Were took the path to the forest, slightly smiling.
Pandr had only checked for any sounds of movement, but not of
breathing. Otherwise he would have certainly waited. She did not
yet realize that the reason for Pandr's inaccuracy was his
urgent Pack business.
Briel Shifted once in the forest, to a golden amber wolf,
slightly small as she was not yet full-grown. She slung her
tattered dress over a high branch, knowing that as long as they
saw no blood, Weres would realize she had Shifted.
She howled once, a long, clear call, knowing that her age-mates
would come soon, either in their wolf form or in their human
form. As she was the Alpha's daughter, she was the leader of her
age-mates, and the next Alpha, if Pandr died naturally, or if
not, then not by a Were's hands and paws. Until she was
challenged, which wasn't a fight to the death like a true
challenge to the Alpha, she would remain leader of her
age-mates, until she became an adult.

[sub]Well, I haven't read the series so I suppose I'll just make
a human.
Her name is Lythia. She lives in the village. I don't really
know one tiny little thing about these so...sorry if I make a
mistake.

village?

[sub]Okay, just pretend nothing like that happened. Now that
I've read it I understand.
Rain is a changed female Were, who of course lives with the
pack.
And, Danny is a male Were, who was born and raised in the pack.
