"Of course. The grumpy, EXTREMELY elderly female dragon thinks
the young, EXTREMELY cute and adorable female dragon too
annoying to speak to, am I right or am I right?" Chijioke huffed
a small blast of fire in the direction of the other female
dragon, not enough to seriously hurt but the smoke might blind
her for a few moments, just enough. The small female tucked in
her wings and dropped towards the ground, hoping Faersa wouldn't
try to come so close without landing properly, as her size would
prevent her from dodging through the trees easily like Chijioke
was now doing.

[sub]"how dare you!" færsa screeched, momentarily blinded by the
smoke, which was enough time for chijioke to get a good
advantage--not that she didn't already have one, being smaller
and nimbler. with an angry roar færsa tucked in her wings and
plummeted to the ground after chijioke. she obviously wants to
die. the dragoness thought, anger soaring through her. she
wasn't as good as getting through the trees as chijioke as her
size prevented her from doing so, but after much practise she
wasn't as bad as most dragons, flipping onto her side and back
when necessary.

Chijioke realized almost immediately that her natural
playfulness and stubbornness had gone too far; she slowed and
looked back at Faersa, huffing out another smoky blast of fire.
Then she dug her hind claws into the ground, tipping herself
nearly vertical. The young dragon flew upward desperately,
searching for a place to hide from the angry Faersa. She tipped
from side to side, weaving back and forth so to avoid any fire
that might be coming her way.

[sub]færsa hadn't dared use fire as she was frightened that it
might set the forest ablaze; even if she didn't like very many
things, she didn't want the natural beauty the die, all because
she was angry at some stupid phoenix. "come back here, you,
you--!" the dragoness roared, her anger pulsing through her
veins, giving her just enough energy to speed up the slightest
bit. however, she found that the once-spindly trees were growing
more thick and less easy to dodge between, and that she was no
longer as close to chijioke as she had hoped. with another angry
roar she continued to weave between the trees, slower this time.

Chijioke risked her fast speed to call back to Faersa, "Having
trouble, milady?" Then she laughed once, though it was much more
sharper than a normal laugh, and shot off again. Eventually she
saw a hole in the ground near a river and dove into it, her
sides scraping the walls as she burst into the cave hidden
underground.
The young dragoness knew that Faersa could easily create a
larger hole in the ground to enter the cave, so she didn't land
immediately but flew to one end, and into one of the tunnels
there. The center one, to be exact. The tunnels were not a huge
maze, but eventually joined into one, though there were many
twists and dead ends. The main tunnel led into another cave,
though this one much, much larger than the first. At one end, a
narrow tunnel led under the river and outside, blocked by a
stone pile. That tunnel was to be used only for emergencies.
