Newbie Guide On "Everything"
So, many of you would want to know what Everything is,
and how to do stuff, etc. So I made up this guide for all your
questions to be ceased, or all the one's we can think of. But
first of all, I think you want to know what "Everything"
actually is. "Everything" is a site based on everything you want
it to be. We try to include everything you would want to find on
a site, but we can't succeed in everything.
That's why we recommend people to PM one of the admins and
request for a board. It is most likely we will say yes, but if
it is inappropriate or we already have something similar, then
we wont put it up. Please understand if we don't.
I've just joined. What should I do first?
Of course, visiting the "Welcome"
HTML http://everythingmas.createaforum.com/welcome!!/
section is
highly recommended. Here you can make a new topic to announce
your arrival, or even go welcome other's who join. Here you can
make friends with other player's online, all around the world!
The welcome section can also be used for announcing things like
inactivity, or getting back, or if you are leaving, etc. This
will continue until further notice.
I'm getting bored already - what should I do now that I've
introduced myself?
Look below the welcome centre! In the main homepage of
'Everything' there are plenty of boards which you can go on. You
just need to choose what you really love, and then go post a
topic there! Or if you don't feel like doing that, you can go
post on someone else's topic. Don't feel shy!
Yeah, but how do I even create a topic?
Easy! To create a topic all you need to do is go in the top
right corner of the page your viewing, where there is white,
just above that blue bar. Don't go to the top of the actual
page, just the white section. There is a blue button with
rounded edges, and in bold capital letters it says 'NEW TOPIC'
click on this, make a name, and type in the body of the text.
So, I've learned how to make a topic, but now how do I reply?
That is also very easy! Go down the bottom of the page of
someone else's or your own posted topic, and it has a green long
bar saying 'Quick Reply' it is pretty clear to see, so I think
that seeing this will be easy. However, it does not have BBC
code stuff, the things that customise your text like fonts and
sizes and colours and italics, and bolds, etc, but you can still
type them in on the Quick Reply. Click here to go to Coding
Help.

I've seen other people with signatures and profile pictures, how
do I get this?
This is pretty simple. Up the top, just below the current
picture which has clovers on it, with all the little buttons
(eg., Home, Search, Arcade, Members, etc) click on the one that
says 'Profile'. In profile, it has a little section on the left
with three small green bars. 'Profile Info', 'Modify My Profile'
and 'Actions'. Under modify my profile there is 'Forum Profile'.
Click on that to add a picture and signature, etc.
I want to become staff! How can I become one?
First of all, you have to know the site well, know the other
admins pretty well, and be friendly, helpful, and go on
actively. If you think you have all of these qualities, go to
this link
HTML http://everythingmas.createaforum.com/become-a-staff!/want-to-become-staff-fill-out-this-form!/<br
/>and copy and paste the form as a new topic. We will probably
think about it first, and your topic will be locked if you
become a staff, you have broken the rules, or you are not
interested.
I am not good at anything on Everything - can you make me a new
board in which I am good at?
Again, PM Miffy or I and we will see what we can do, after
discussing a few things. We will notify you if we can add a
board, but if we can't we are sorry. You may also ask for
categories, though it is a lower chance to be accepted, and a
higher chance to become a board.
I saw someone breaking a rule - what should I do?
Straight away you must report this person. Violating the rules
of "Everything" is certainly not acceptable among us, and we
give much gratitude to those who notice things like this and
report them. To report someone, simply go to the bottom of their
post before their signature (the line through the middle of
someone's post, just above that) and click 'Report to
moderator'. Usually you would do this, but if you somehow can't,
immediately tell an administrator or staff.
I have been banned/suspended/warned for breaking a rule, but I
don't understand what I did.
If you broke a rule and got banner, suspended or warned for
doing something and don't know why, just PM the person who sent
you the warning/another admin (Miffy or I) and we will get back
to you as quickly as possible, with the answer! If you did
something unintentional, then we will warn you for next time,
but if you did it on purpose, then please try to restrain what
you did. If it was an accident, we will correct ourselves and
apologise c:
I have so many more questions! Where do I go?
If you have more unanswered questions in this guide, simply PM
Miffy or I and we will give you the answer as quickly as
possible. Or, if you think that this question is not only for
us, just go to the Help
HTML http://everythingmas.createaforum.com/help/
centre and we and
other's will answer your question!
