A New Global Moderator!

In keeping with the ongoing changes we are installing a new
Global Moderator to the forum.
Welcome Nikola!
Nikola's duties will include General Moderation, splitting and
moving topics/posts to fit into the structure of the forum and
keeping an eye that heated/polarizing topics stay in their own
threads. I am very committed to having a forum where anything
can be discussed; however we do want to keep the more
controversial subjects in their own threads so the general
membership can enjoy their chosen level of interaction.
Nikola also has a special "Portfolio", and area where she will
have a freer hand. She will be implementing an updated Language
Learning area that will better serve the membership and will be
attractive to new members who might want to join. I am sure she
will welcome your suggestions in this area.

Hello everyone!
I just want to say I'm aware that many of you have been here
longer than I have, and I have a lot of respect for you. I love
how friendly and open-minded this community is and I'd like to
keep my interference to an absolute minimum. As you know, I am a
big fan of inappropriate jokes and banter. How much of a
desirable trait that is in a moderator I'm not sure, but you can
rest assured that whatever you say, I have probably said
something worse at some point. Which reminds me, can someone
moderate me, please?
So if people could take each other with a grain of salt, that
would be great. At the same time, if something's seriously
bothering you, don't keep it to yourself. Feel free to message
me. Even if nothing's bothering you, feel free to message me. Do
you want someone to bother you but they're not? Message me.
And last but not least...
