A New Administrator!

Yup, we have another one, but this is an addition to the team, I
have no intention of changing my status or leaving the forum.
I believe strongly in consensus leadership, especially in an
informal setting. Frankly, I do not want the many members who
live outside the US thinking that the forum in entirely in the
hands of some half crazed, Trump loving, politics arguing,
evangelical preaching, American. So I have chosen someone from
the membership that I am sure has the respect of every member,
and frankly is known for her measured responses. She also has
no problem moderating me, on the rare occasions when I am in
need of moderation (if you can believe it). Of course I am
writing about Alharacas, our current board moderator!
Alharacas will be our new Administrator, entirely on equal
footing with me. We will try to do everything by consensus
together, while some things might be done if one abstains or has
no opinion, nothing will be done when one of us feels strongly
against a measure. Of course if anything is done that you do
not like, please remember it is probably my fault. Feel free to
contact either one of us by email if you have any questions or
concerns.
And for now, All Hail Alharacas! Bring out the finest meats and
cheeses!

As long as I can continue to preach the truth about man-made
global warming and the genius of our glorious leader Trump, I'm

Neal, when I first glanced at your post I thought you said, „I
believe strongly in censorship leading,.......“ Then I thought
„Hum, maybe he’s serious. You know, Italki-style? Or, maybe Neal
went off the deep end with all this power (you know power
corrupting and all)“.
So, it‘s „consensus“ leading. Better Neal. Very democratic of
you. I guess I‘m not fully awake yet ;)

Beats the hell out of me, I'm still trying to figure out the
interface.
The site admin has the ability to move and remove posts, make
changes to site organization, make and implement site policy.
They are who you contact if you have a suggestion or need
something fixed, and who to blame if it all goes horribly wrong.
For the most part, we hope our roles will remain in the
background.
