Well, it is a good source of iron. Fancy way to get kids to eat
it.
Interesting you can find it on sale here in the U.S., especially
in NY City. The health dept must not know what is in it.
I'm going to go to Brooklyn and shake down a few Russian
specialty shops. If you don't hear from me in 48 hours, send
the Marines!

Aha! I did wonder what they'd done about the letter H (Russian
doesn't have that sound, as far as I'm aware). It's Gematogen!

I think they made a mistake if they are trying to get people to
try it here. "Hema" is a dead giveaway for 'blood'.

I'm not surprised that much. Japanese eat cow livers. Koreans
make sausages with beef and its blood. It contains a lot of iron
that is good nutrition. Britsh eats cow brains. BSE disease
broke out form UK though.
Don't eat, if you want to keep America great.
