Chat is LIVE!

It was just $30 anyway so I blew it on a chat feature for the
site. I know most of us come on at certain times of day, it
might be easy to meet there, or to set up meetings. Might also
be a good way to practice languages.
For the general sanity of the rest of the membership, NealC,
Jerry (whatever his current NN!) and SHL will promise to refrain
from discussing American Politics while in chat.

I think I missed something. Sorry I was overwhelmed by all those
political discussions.

There should be a little Chat button up top. From there you can
jump right into a Chat.
When you post try to see who is on, and see if a chat works for
you. You can also private chat someone.
Hopefully it will be fun, and useful for some to practice
writing/reading.

May I use the same ID and password as for EGP?

Yes absolutely
I think if you are logged in to EGP it will let you jump right
in. It might make you log in first, use the same logins. You
and I need to parlare italiano!

Thank you Neal, that was a great idea. And, yes, we will refrain
from discussing American politics, because it is all such
insanity, it even gives me a headache thinking about it. We get
bombarded with this garbage all day long, unfortunately, so it
is hard to pull your head out of that swamp. I frankly think it
would be more fun to talk about Brexit, but maybe no one wants
to go down that road either. European politics are more
interesting, but maybe even that’s a bit much.
But Neal, if you want to get into Italian verb conjugations you
are going to lose me on that one.
Again, great idea. ;)

I‘m wondering what the best times are to check with chat. I‘m
not a morning person, and I do stay up late (I guess I make up
for it that way). Plus, my time zone makes it hard (PDT) to
connect with people when they are around.

Sometimes I sleep right when i get home from work, then I am up
at 2 or 3 in the morning. It is not really insomnia, as I have
been asleep since 8pm. I see you lurking around, will hit the
chat.
