       Why the US needs strict gun control laws and should repeal the 2
       nd Amendment

       In Chicago someone is shot every 3 hours and killed by a gun
       every 14 hours, mostly in the black areas of South Chicago. More
       Americans in Chicago have died in gun-related deaths and
       shootouts since 2001, than have died in the Afghan and Iraq Wars
       combined. That‘s why we have to vote in a good President, like
       Biden or Kamala Harris next year to save the country from
       self-destruction.
       On that other thread where Neal and Jerry are putting down
       Chicago and San Francisco I posted a link to an Australian 60
       minutes report that was broadcast just this month about this.
       It‘s like the Wild West. People are getting shot there over
       potato chips, dice games, anything according to the report. Even
       the news crew had to have a special escort just to enter the bad
       neighborhoods who had connections with the people who run the
       streets, and even then the street gang guys that run their
       territory told them not to stay long, that it was too dangerous.
       Pretty shocking, but this is the result of the Republicans and
       their policies.
