I never saw any of those Milchautomat machines. But you are
right, they exist where I live

I have an acquaintance who decided to try to live with “zero
garbage” and not use any disposable containers for food anymore.
She only buys fruits and vegetables at farmers markets. Goes
with her own bottles and Tupperware to fetch fresh milk and
yogurts. She says everything is a lot more tasty and her
children drink more milk than before.

       @Steve
I am making the Geese angry. During the winter they expanded
"their territory" to include the side door to the greenhouse.
Now they attack everyone who comes up to the side door. So
every morning I get on my ATV and chase them back. That worked
for a while, but now they are charging me as I pass.
I'm going to have to get a big stick.

I had heard about the snake root, but I really was referring to
bacterial version. A hundred or more years ago the cities had a
lot more horses in them, and even a clean city struggled to keep
manure to a minimum. There was some kind of synergy between
manure and milk sickness bacteria. Back in the day it killed a
lot of people. It is hard to even find a case of it today.
