I love die Bild Zeitung for news. The latest on Boeing going dow
       n the drain
By: SHL Date: April 1, 2019, 1:45 am

Well, it´s been awhile now and the Boeing 737 Max still is
grounded and there`s no word on Boeing`s future. It would be sad
to see the last US commercial plane manufacture go down the
drain, but its bungle on the 737 Max might bring it down,
leaving Airbus to lead the way for the world. I caught a Fox
News clip tonight and they are the worst news source
imagineable. They are like a US propaganda agency. They had some
„expert“ on to say the pilots were probably to blame for the
crashes because they weren`t qualified enough to fly a
sophisticated place like this one. What a joke. Die Bild
Zeitung, got it right with this headline:

I always have to laugh at Die Bild. They are like an upgraded
version of the US National Enquirer. I love how they put in red
       „new details about Boeing`s „death-airplane“ or „airplane of
death“ (I guess we would just call it a deathtrap).....I was
laughing when I read that. That was so descriptive. Yep, the 737
Max, a death airplane. Get in one of those and it`s like
       stepping into a coffin.
The caption: „Is the rivalry (or competition battle) with Airbus
to blame for the crash? American Airlines cancels 90 Boeing
flights per day....in addition Boeing threatened with
compensatory damages to the EU in the billions..“

I am sure it is very entertaining to giggle with the German
version of the National Enquirer but Boeing will be fine. This
is a very serious problem for them but there is no reason to
think they will not overcome this. The preliminary report from
Ethiopia comes out today and it is my bet it will have the same
result as Lion Air - one of the sensors was down and not
repaired between flights. Their proposed software and hardware
       fixes already address this problem.
If you are looking to Airbus to provide market leadership you
are looking at a corporation with its own troubles. The Airbus
320 is being removed from service after only 12 years, way too
early for a major aircraft to provide real returns. Their sales
team is being investigated in the US, UK, and France on serious
allegations of bribery and fraud. The latest big sale to China
is certainly a coup but the deal took far too long to close and
the Chinese nit picked it to death. Except for the China deal
the sales staff has booked exactly 4 airplane sales in 2019.
Four. And the report of the sale to China makes it less likely
for other airlines to switch their orders from Boeing to Airbus,
as they would have to wait behind the China backlog to get the
new aircraft, and no one thinks that deal will be easy or on
       time.
Airbus and Boeing had both better get on track, the Chinese
aerospace industry will be breathing down their neck soon
       enough.

Personally, SHL, I get all of my news from Georgian sources. I
haven't seen a story on this in the Georgian press, so I'm
       guessing it's not worth reading.

Georgian press? Is that a joke? Must be. But, Boeing‘s
       „death-airplane“ was hilarious.

No, it's not a joke Steve. I assure you that the Georgian press
has overtaken the German press in terms of perfection. I can
send you some links if you'd like to get all of the latest news.
I love the Georgian Times for the news.

Of course not and that‘s not what the author‘s of the article
were even remotely implying. It was just their choice of words
to describe the 737Max as a „death plane“ that I thought was
funny. It reminded me of a 1971 Ford Pinto as being described as
a death trap, which it was.
By the way, where did this strange name come from for Obama that
you use, Barry Sotereo or something? You keep trying to say he
was born in Kenya but that Barry -something name makes it seems
less likely for him to have been born in Kenya than Barak.
