Love Poem

I was wondering if anyone would like to write a poem with me.
Feel free to add as many verses as you want. I wrote "Love Poem"
but if it turns into a complete depressing mess or nonsense,
it's fine. I just want to see what happens.
Ok, here goes...
My life is nothing but a line
in a book that's not even mine,

And don't look at me. Likely as not, my contribution would be
"My life is just a lime, in a basketful of slime".or "Alas, I'm
getting tired, of being so admired". Which would definitely
lower the poetic tone, you'll admit.

sleep or dream, you always soar and shine.
You always thought love as the equation of alpha, beta and gama.
Alas! In the search of finding someone better, you missed that
lovely aroma!😉

So now it's turned into a song with a bit of rap half way
through (Sunshine's contribution). I think that could work.
