Tonite was the "State of the Union" speech, a Constitutionally
mandated message from the President to both Houses of Congress.
Before the age of radio and TV the President would usually
deliver a letter, now it is national television, cable tv,
internet streaming, satellite, you name it. Most Presidents are
good public speakers, and they have an army of speechwriters
working on the "SOTU" since Christmas.
Trump did a great job lining up his achievements and outlining
his future plans. Great call for unity and compromise too.
Lots of emotional 'moments'.
Hopefully the idiots in Washington can move forward now with the
business of the country.
"The United States of America will never become a socialist
country!".

You know Neal, I never watched that State of the Union address.
I don`t have the stomach for it. I watched a German movie
instead.
