History of the Entire World, I guess

History of the entire world in less than 20 minutes. It's one
crazy ride. The guy who put this together is hilarious. He's
also done a video about history of Japan (have you seen it,
Chizuko?)
I am posting this because I feel that it could go well with the
recent discussion about religion. There's definitely a theme
("you could make a religion out of this").

I hate to be a boring theist, but for the first four minutes of
this program the phrase "Oh yeah, it is obvious this all
happened by chance" kept going through my head.
It was interesting to see what he found notable in the other 16
minutes. Very well done!

It's quite full on, right? :)

Well, I'm sorry it approaches the "creation" of the world in
such a cold, insensitive way. It's like watching a video about
how mummy and daddy buy Christmas presents, wrap them and put
them under the Christmas tree.
To make up for it, here's something for you. It's an entire
movie made in Czechoslovakia in the 50s, based on the animated
series by the French artist Jean Effel. It's quite long and
there are no English subtitles. However, the visual part is
fairly self-explanatory. You might be able to find a more
English-friendly version somewhere on the internet, if you like
it. I love it and I don't even believe in this stuff. I like how
God creates nice things like flowers and farm animals and then
the devil comes and adds thorns and horns to them :)
