       Steven, what on earth is funny about the story of (Caucasian)
       woman A not only unwilling to make room on the bus for
       (dark-skinned) woman B (who'd politely asked to sit where B had
       deposited her bags), but shouting racist abuse at her? What's
       funny about the 30 or so other passengers on the bus just
       looking on, and not saying/doing anything about it? What's funny
       about woman A then falling all over herself to politely make
       room for a handful of new (Caucasian) passengers? What's funny
       about poor woman B completely losing it and pushing at A? And
       what's funny about A pretending to the bus driver she'd been
       pushed so hard by B, she needed an ambulance?
       Last not least, what's funny about the narrator neatly
       pinpointing the problem? Which is not so much A's undoubted
       racism, but the other passengers' complete inertia in face of it
       - perhaps the most typical and objectionable German trait of
       all. Sorry. Forgot to mention it on the other thread. Probably
       because I so wish it didn't exist.

       Die Geschichte vom Bus, und das was da geschehen ist, war nicht
       lustig, nicht in dem Sinne, ganz bestimmt nicht, und die
       Erzählerin hat am Anfang des Videos das gesagt. Lustig war nicht
       das passende Wort.  Das Thema war ernst. Sehr ernst, das weíß
       ich, und traurig. Ich muß mich dafür entschuldigen, in dem ich
       das Wort „lustig“ benutzt hab.
       Das andere Video über die Kassierer was lustig. Das hätte ich
       besser erklären sollen.

       Was den Akzent der Erzählerin anbelangt, weíß ich nicht, aber
       sie hat einmal von Hamburg gesprochen. Deswegen nehme ich an,
       daß sie in Hamburg wohnt? Keine Ahnung eigentlich, aber ich
       finde sie leicht zu verstehen.

       Das ist beleidigend. Du vergisst, dass nicht alle Deutch zu
       sprechen. Ich finde diskriminierend, was du gesagt hast.

       Marmolada, du solltest mal jemand von Oesterreich hören! Warum
       dürfen wir nicht auf Deutsch schreiben? Es gibt mindestens vier
       Personen hier die das können. Weiß nicht ob Nikola Deutsch
       spricht.

       Ich stimme dir zu. Sprechen wir alle Deutsch hier, oder öfters
       mal für diejenigen, die Deutsch können.
