Learning Latin

Apparently, "Lingua Latina per se illustrata" is a classic:

However, I'd never heard of it. In case you haven't, either:
it's a book written in Latin that teaches you Latin. I'd really
recommend it if you'd like to add learning a dead language to
your schedule.

Great book. Unfortunately haven’t much time to seriously study
Latin again

Learning Latin has long been one of the to-do things in my list.
:)
P.S. The website is Iranian xD It's good to see that other
Iranians want to learn Latin too. :P

I don't think of Latin as a dead language. It's still used in
medicine and the law. And of course, the Vatican uses it. As do
serious students of the Bible. I understand these are small
circles. However, Latin { and Greek } study are great ways to
enlarge one's vocabulary. You learn not only the words that your
language, especially English, uses but you also are able to
determine meaning of new words by recognizing prefixes and
suffixes from Latin and Greek.
