In all those articles they forget to mention the Italian
anarchists who used to sing in the 19th century “ la mia patria
é il mondo intero, la mia legge é la libertà “ = my homeland is
the whole world, freedom is my law!

Perhaps the place where you are actually a citizen, you know,
       back in reality.

There`s no citizen of the world passport, but the mraning is we
are all human and part of the human family and not part of some
group that drew artificial lines in the dirt and said “this is
my side and that is yours.”

if it has no borders you could become a citizen there!
Just tell them "Passport, shmassport, I am a citizen of the
       world!"

Oh! Oh! I have a World War II German Joke!
This is an actual joke told in Germany just before World War II!
So this mouse goes to the Belgian border and says "I am afraid
for my life, I must flee Germany!"'
Border Agent: "Surely you must be mistaken, who would want to
       kill you?"
Mouse: "The Gestapo posted in my town, all Giraffes still in
Germany by sundown will be shot!"
Border Agent: "So what does that have to do with you? You are
not a giraffe, you are pretty much the opposite of a giraffe!"
Mouse: "Not a giraffe? Yeah sure, tell that to the Gestapo!"

Ideally, there would be open borders so people could live and
work where they choose, just like the EU and Schengen area
countries have, but the US doesn`t have that kind of sweet deal
with anyone because no one would want to take Americans in, and
the only people wanting to come here are 3rd worlders, from
places like Honduras or El Salvador. That´s a shame, to be stuck
in a country like the USA that you don`t want to live in.
