Girl, interrupted

Such a puzzle this Russian soul. You never know what alcohol
might remind you.
We were drinking wine, listened to Enrique Iglesias, then
started to listen to " Hollywood Undead" and one of my favorite
song by them "Save me" and here we go.
Have you seen a film " Girl, Interrupted". One of the best
film I've seen. Drama.
www.imdb.com/title/tt0172493/
I watched this film when it was released and still remember
almost every detail. The film is about 18 years old girl, her
mental issues, and suicide.
Angelina is blonde here. I think that brown hair suits her
better, though she is always perfect with her aristocratic
beauty and tattoos :P
BTW,
SHL, I know that it's not your style but it sounds connected to
some topics you started:

Yeah, I really like this movie and I like the character Angelina
plays there. I read the book too and I must say this is one of
those rare cases where the movie is actually better than the
novel.

Minion, I have a few serious films I really like. You know some
of them and like them too.
However, my by far favourite comedy is “ Love and Death”
recommended by you recently.
How could I live without that movie?!)
The conclusion is :))) I’ll be much appreciated if you share any
films you like. You’ve recommended some already but a repetition
is perfectly ok if you fogot those.

Well, it's like with sharing your favourite music - you just
can't do this in one go. But if you want to know some of the
more serious stuff I like, I can just drop a few titles now.
First of all, Woody Allen. With this guy, I believe, you can
pick any movie and be sure to get something out of it. He did
some more serious stuff, so just pick any. Really. I will say,
however, that - from the newest - Blue Jasmine is a must watch.
It's Woody Allen and Cate Blanchett together, come on. I suspect
that CB could just show up and say anything and I'd love it, so
I'm a bit biased... but really, she's fantastic there.
BTW, she plays Katherine Hepburn in Aviator - another one of my
favourites. (Why do I tend to pick films about disturbed people,
huh?)
About Woody Allen - I think that Husbands and Wives is a bit
less popular than it should be. The script is brilliant. It's
much better, IMO, than the scripts of some of his other famous
productions. It's a joy to watch.
And when we're at sick people and sick characters - well, Roman
Polański comes to mind: Repulsion and The Tenant (based on
Roland Topor's book which is just great). But with this guy is
probably the same thing: just pick any.
And since I'm supposedly dead inside, I am rarely touched by a
movie, but the last two that actually did the trick was: Black
Swan and The Wrestler by Darren Aronofsky so I'd recommend
those.
