Should we test the coronvirus vaccine on young healthy volunteer
s?

I've just watched this on the BBC Instagram service:

I understand this would be the step towards the inventing of the
vaccine. But still have doubts:

l'm not sure. The risk is still high.
The positive outcome of the vaccine is said
not to be the spectacular one (3 months of
immunity and effectiveness comparable to
the flu vaccine? or I have already outdated
information?). Maybe we should vaccinate
young healthy individuals to prove the vaccine
isn't dangerous itself, and then vaccinate
widely people belonging to groups of risk,
living in areas with high infection possibility. I know
there are people who are willing to risk their own
lives and health for community benefits. But should we
accept their sacrifice?
Is it really necessary?

And what are your opinions?

I wonder if they could start by testing it on people who think
COVID is a hoax...

I just read that in China they started to vaccine health
personnel. Why not?

We were asked if we are interested in being vaccined against the
flu before this autumn... for free...
Such a generosity of our management never happened before... and
I think that it will appear that 'for free' doesn't apply to
everybody ;-)
It's nice step anyway... though most of our staff with medium
education level disagree with the vaccination programme.
And the lower education level staff even doesn't believe in the
existence of covid. My friend says 'Someone has to be
eliminated in the process of natural selection...' But I'm
afraid it doesn't work like that. Those who care will be
eliminated by the careless people's unconcern. Those who not
care usually survive (maybe because they are in majority).

It would make sense to vaccinate those who are most likely to
contract it. Little by little, I mean, keep them off work for a
while in case they developed the disease as a result of being
vaccinated. I would consider trying it on staff who work in care
homes as well.

Same situation where I live. Free vaccines against seasonal flu
are offered in practically all the public institutions and big
companies since ages. I think it’s a good idea.
The worst anti-vaccine people are certains nurses, some of them
truly believe that vaccines cause autism and other obscure
psychiatric problems. So they refuse to be vaccinated against
seasonal flu and in the name of personal liberties are against
obligatory vaccines for children.
