So how did 2020 start for you?

There is a Czech saying "jak na Nový rok, tak po celý rok". It
means whatever your New Year's Day's like, the rest of the year
will be just like that. Back in the day, people would carry
money in their pockets on New Year's Day to make sure they were
sorted money wise for the rest of the year, and take extra care
to avoid arguments.
What would be happening for you in 2020 if this were true?

Not good at all. I had flu and felt about 500 years old.

Po'r thee. I desire the malady hast gone and thou art in bett'r
shapeth. T's not most wondrous to be ailing.

Played some games and ate junk food. Spent time with my
wonderful granddaughter.

Well, that could be done on a daily basis, kind of.

My husband and I watched five episodes of the series „The Crown“
on Netflix. I have the vague impression that my English
improved. I am waiting impatiently for the forth season that
will be streamed in May. Never thought that the Royals could
interest me.

It didn’t start that great for me. It made me appreciate how
useful it is to have a gallbladder (I mean a normally
functioning one).

I'm sure the Royals would be pleased to hear that. Your lack if
interest must have bothered them greatly :) It wouldn't be my
usual topic of interest, either, although I have been watching a
mini series about Maria Theresa, just waiting for the last part
that's on TV tonight. It's not half bad.
Four months, though... the problem with a long wait like this is
the anticipation. Hope it's not a disappointment.

There's no point crying over spilt... er... bile? That doesn't
sound too good. Anyway, have you not been able to distract
yourself at all, Steven?
