That's kind of a false friend, because der Artist, die Artisten
is only ever used for circus artists. Art is Kunst, the artist
is der Künstler, and artistic is künstlerisch.

Yeah, and there is also sztukować (= anstücken) and sztuka
(= Stück, item).

No, this has one form, [s]male[/s] masculine: sobek. You would
say jestem sobkiem.
