Why is abbreviated such a long word? Can't we start a movement
to shorten it?

Because usually it takes only « 5 Minutes of good will »
(translation of the Italian « cinque minuti di buona volontà).

Cinque minuti di buona volontà
Can you see why I love Italian?
When I was young and single if I whispered "Ahhhh signorina, io
ho bisogno sola cinque minuti di buona volontà..." into some
American girl's ear they would have melted into my arms.
