Astérix the well known French cartoon hero would say “ils sont
fous ces américains!”.
I first thought it was a fake news, but then I found (a more or
less) serious newspaper mentioning the story

And it's true that we have our share of crazies here [ SHL ] but
the proper title should be "This confirms what Jerry always
tells us but I refuse to believe; American Liberals are nuttier
than a fruit cake."

We agree on several things ;D I remember some interesting
discussions on the Chinese joint about gender neutral
language... and political correctness.
