German-English Rebuses

I posted some riddles a while ago. They involved naming things
in English in order to make a German word. This time, it's the
other way round. Think about what you see in German to form an
English word.

2nd one remains an enigma - AR-FRAU? AR-DAME? AR-ALTE?
AR-RENTNERIN? ???

Yes, I did wake up to smell the coffee. ;) Don't know whether
you realize it's both a German AND an English word. Genius! :)

Right. That's because I had a C- there instead of AR-
originally. Then I changed my mind. You're right.
