America and the Limonade Stand....An excellent commentary

Few articles capture what is really wrong with America (and by
that I mean the US, to exclude the rest of North America). What
went wrong historically? Read about it. It’s all true.
Every generation of young people is far worse off financially
than its earlier generation (I can tell you that from
experience).
Just so you know, this is NOT a snarky “I hate America rant”,
but an insightful commentary, funny and extremely clever.
It captures the American way of thinking, sociologically and
psychologically to a T.
The American way of thinking:
“You and the other (Americans) realize something: it is
impossible to not make money in this neighborhood (country). The
only way not to make money is to be either lazy or completely
incompetent. Your lemonade opportunities are only limited by the
time and energy you’re willing to put into it. The sky is the
limit, and the only thing standing between you and your dreams
of lemonade riches is yourself.
“Unsurprisingly, a culture starts to develop around the
neighborhood (country). Narratives are formed about certain
(people) who sell lots of lemonade and other (people) who don’t.
This (person) is a genius and sells lemonade 20 hours a day.
This (person) is a loser who couldn’t sell ice water in a
desert, not to mention he probably drinks half of his own stash.
“(Americans) come to see life in a pretty simple way: people get
what they deserve. Or put similarly: people deserve whatever
they get. And if they want something better, they should have
been smarter and/or worked harder for it”.
Truly brilliant:
