Animals have lost the plot
By: Nikola Date: July 12, 2019, 1:58 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
So first there was the caterpillar infestation that a big part
of Europe is still recovering from, as our dear friend Jerry
informed us, and now all animals are just going crazy. All
things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small have
been trying to enter our house. There have been several birds
who don't just fly in and get confused, no, no, they know what
they're doing. They walk in through the open French door and
walk around the ground floor until they decide to leave.
Butterflies have been determined to get in and stay here. I
chased one out the other day, it came straight back, I chased it
back out and had to shut the door and even so, it still kept
flying into it. Apparently a similar butterfly has let himself
in since, bringing a girlfriend with him. They have no shame.
And last night, there was one of those giant grasshoppers (about
8 cm, over 3 inches) in our bathroom, causally climbing up and
down the blind, refusing to leave through the open window or be
caught in a bucket. I went to get dad. I woke him up and he said
"they're completely harmless, just leave it, I'll catch it in
the morning". And this morning I hear "ouch you little ****" as
he rushed down the stairs with it. Of course it bit him.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Nikola, if you have butterflies it means that nature is still
preserved where you live.
We don’t have many in the town where I live. We have spiders in
the house but I don’t mind because they eat other insects. We
have to many moskitos since our close neighbor has a big pond
but she forgot to put some fishes in it that would eat the
moskitos.
Certain years we had a big invasion of flying aunts. It was
terrible. A real plague. Our house is very old. They where
everywhere, even in my bed. I was ready to go to sleep in a
hotel. We called a professional bug killer or exterminator.
I do not want to know what he put around the house in the soil
near the walls. He was masked and armed like an alien. He came
two consecutive years. I am immensely grateful. The flying aunts
didn’t come back.
What I find cute are the foxes, the small bats, many kind of
birds that eat all my cherries and my prunes.
The cutest animals that come in the garden are the hedgehogs.
But some neighbors bought robots to cut the grass, it seems that
they kill hedgehogs. How sad.

Sofia, I'm going to stop laughing like an idiot, take a deep
breath... there... and tell you that flying aunts would be
flying sisters of your mother or father :) I think you meant
flying ants :)
I wasn't laughing at you, by the way, just the image.

Yes!
A butterfly flew in to my kitchen this afternoon, and refused to
leave. So strange..butterflies don't come into houses.
What's going on?

Oh my! Maybe Nikola wanted to start a story about supernatural
events and i messed it up with my bug objective report.
Fortunately my spelling error brought some fun!

My aunt flew in from Chicago once. We weren't all that happy to
see her either.

You're probably going to have an earthquake soon. I've heard
that butterflies do this right before the Big One. It happens in
California all of the time. Please let us know how it works out.
And stay safe.

When my uncle flew into my house, I was..... kidding!
I'm not sure there are cicadas in Europe and the US. Because
they are typically Asian insects. They are creatures that very
patient in under the ground for seven years as babies. When they
grew up, they come out on the earth. They make a big crazy sound
on the trees for a month and die.
They teach human that if you are frustrated about hiding alone
for a long time, you will be mad, insane and die soon.
One day, a cicada flew into my living room. I didn't do anything
as it never attacks human apart from the lesson of frustration.
In the evening, It was still staying on the wall quietly. I was
patient enough to live with it.
At night, when it was getting dark outside, it suddenly started
to make a big noise. Too big noise! Louder than a bell ring!
As soon as I took a broom, I smashed it! I was totally insane
after long patience. That was what cicadas thaught me. Long
frustration makes you crazy.

So, If this jinx was true, I would have seen more than ten
butterflies. But I didn't have any insects except for a noisy
cicada. Don't worry.

I don't know where they come from but sometimes bats forget the
way to their home and enter into my room through windows. They
just blindly fly around the room. I don't get afraid of them as
I know they can't turn me into a vampire but they may harm
themselves by the rotating ceiling fan. So, I suddenly turn it
off and finally, after a bit of hustle, I succeed in leading
them out of the window.
BTW, I have a house lizard as a pet:D Do anyone get afraid of
house lizard? And is it common in your place to find a house
lizard in houses?
