Our very own WRITING CHALLENGE

I would like to introduce EGP's first language challenge. It
will last one week, starting tomorrow. I will be posting a new
writing task every day. It's up to you how many sentences you
want to write in your target language. You don't have to write
in the same language all the time, you can choose depending on
the topic. I will be participating too.
I'm going to use the Notebook section for this. Feel free to
post your entries as comments under each post. Since we're
learning more languages than we currently speak here, one can't
expect corrections but you never know, new members might join us
and give us a hand. If you see an entry in a language you're
good at, it would be very much appreciated if you provided a
correction or any kind of feedback.
It's an experiment. They say it's better to regret things you've
done than things you've never even tried. So let's give it a try
:)

Excellent idea!
I have plenty of desagreable tasks to do this week so I am
grateful if I have a good reason to procrastinate again. I will
participate in the challenge and I am ready to read in French
and in Italian and leave my comments if they are of any use.

Happy to correct anything written in German. In Spanish, I'd be
able to point out glaring grammar mistakes, but not to give any
hints on style, so I'm probably not much use, sorry.
In case any of your writing tasks can be answered by using
mainly "yes, no, thanks, sorry, please, he/she/I
said/came/left/played" (plus a few random nouns), I might even
try my hand at Farsi... :D

You're amazing, guys. I will try to come up with tasks that will
give you as much flexibility as possible, in terms of your
level. I don't think I can stretch them from A1 to C2 (I can
try) but they should definitely be beginner-friendly.
Looking forward to it.
And, of course, I am happy to check people's Czech!
