The tide is strong in California to oust Trump in 2020 and elect
a man or woman to save the US before it gets worse.
Just an an example, I saw a family yesterday on the plane to
Iceland and all their kids wearing t-shirts with “KAMALA HARRIS-
       For the Future“ on them.
       The tide is turning democrat.

I have to say I am more and more disgusted with Kamala Harris.
I read an article from the other side of the "Backpage"
controversy and my problem with her is not just a disagreement
about prosecution. It is more about her tactics and character.
I dont think you win centrists with her.

And to go on, thanks to the electoral college it makes no
difference how upset California is. They are already in the
blue column, doesnt matter if Trump gets 0 votes there.

I would love to see Trump defeated in the next election.
However, his success in raising funds the first official week of
his campaign does not make me optimistic. I don´t think any of
the too liberal candidates can defeat him.
Neal-- do you think Kamela Harris´ character is worse than
Trump´s? In my book, that would be quite extreme.
Did you know that the over 2 million dollars for Trump´s little
military dog and pony show for Independence Day was taken from
the (already small) budget of the national park service instead
of the (already huge) military budget? His contempt for
everything about nature, not just his lack of belief in global
       warming, really disgusts me.

Well, as James Carville stated back when the disgusting criminal
Clinton was running for a second term: "It's the economy
stupid." In other words, we were told to ignore the criminal,
unethical, and immoral behavior of Slick. Of which there was
mountains of evidence. The pathetic Dems have looked for
evidence of criminal behavior on the part of Trump for almost
three years and guess what, ZERO has been found. ZERO.
The economy since Trump took office has smashed every record
since the founding of the country. That's not a biased
statement, it's a fact. We have full employment. I rest my case.

I think it is a disgrace that we have more people in California
than Canada, one of the top economies in the world (forgetting
the rest of the US) and we don’t even have a say in who gets
elected as President? That’s not democracy. That’s the
dictatorship of the rednecks and ignorant from Dayton Ohio.
Speaking of which, I saw a German TV show on Dayton the other
day. What a dump. A once vibrant city that went down the drain.
East Dayton doesn’t even have ONE single food store. Just fast
food, garbage junk food. That’s how bad it is. Homes selling for
       $5000, some $2000.
Everything went out of business and moved and now the buildings
are just abandoned with graffiti on them.
And then Jerry is talking about new jobs? Here’s what happened
in Dayton. GM and other big names moved out leaving the
unemployment rate soaring to 35%. The city turned into a city of
       opioid junkies.
Then one of the richest guys in China came in, and started a
plant to manufacture glass for cars. He’s a multi-billionaire.
He hired all these guys laid off from GM, true, who used to make
$36/hour for GM years ago. Now he pays them $12.50/hour to
start, one lousy dollar higher than California’s minimum wage.
If these poor saps stay on long enough, they might get a raise
       to $15/hour. Big deal.
This is how Trump is a making America great again, and how he
claims the economy is “doing great”? The old rich bastard who
runs the place said, through a Chinese interpreter, in reference
to his starvation wages of $12.50 an hour, “well, they make less
       in Mexico.”
How did this “genius” ever become a billionaire? Disgusting.
This is NOT bringing jobs back. This is just further ruining the
economy and making the US into a 3rd world country. It sure as
h*ll is not making America great again. We were better off in
       the 1960s.

Ok, lets break it down Steven, if you can.
Why did the Chinese guy come to the US instead of Mexico to make
his glass? Because by having his factory in the US, he avoids
the new Trump Tariffs on unfair Chinese competition and gains
entry into the best market in the world. Why the US instead of
Mexico? Because NAFTA no longer allows him to set up in Mexico
and push his stuff into the US without tariff or tax.
So now, because of the new Trump trade policies the factory is
in the US. Job one done. On to job two - wages.
Now with full employment, stagnant wages will begin to rise.
But ONLY if you can control immigration at the border. If you
keep flooding the US with workers, wages will not go up.
Do you understand? This is all related. NO ONE and I mean NO
ONE talked about Trade Terms before Trump. I am sorry to use
caps but I really do feel like screaming this from the rooftops:
NO ONE CARED ABOUT TRADE TERMS OR THE AMERICAN WORKER BECAUSE
EVERY SINGLE F'ING POLITICIAN IS IN THE POCKET OF THE UNIONS AND
CORPORATE INTERESTS!! Now even Elizabeth Warren is beginning to
       connect the dots.
Factories and jobs will come back, which will bring hope back,
which will alleviate some of the pressure to just surrender to
drugs. if only we can get the democrats to control the border.
You don't see Germany doing any of this stupidity. Hell I will
trade you German style Health Care if you give me Trade Terms
       and Immigration reform.

Susan point taken, I really cant argue with that.
I think prosecutorial overreach, just like any government
overreach bothers me more than Trumps narcissism and appalling
       morality.

And Steven if you want the 1960's again you would have to wreck
the British treasury, bomb Germany and Japan back to the stone
age, put the Indians, Brazillians, and Chinese back on
subsistence farming, the Russians back into slavery.
