Carola Rackete in Lampedusa: shame on Italy and his current far
right government
By: Aliph Date: July 1, 2019, 7:19 am

The captain Carola Rackete who drove the Sea Watch into the port
of the Italian island Lampedusa with 40 migrants on board was
welcomed by some macho/fascist who agressed her verbally
accusing her that she wants to be fu*c*ked by some Nig***.

Coraggio Carola! Non dar retta a questi imbecilli.

The time has come, when the compassion and other signs of
humanity, result in being oppressed... at least verbally, but
who knows what will be the next step (or rather when will they
make it).

Well, it always was like that. The ones who dared to stand up
against injustice often payed with their life.
Carola is brave and as she said she was born lucky. She is
German, privileged, never had any hardship in life.
So she wanted to help those that nobody wants anymore.
She wasn’t only insulted because she is a woman but also because
she is German, she was called “crucca”, crout eater, like
certain Italians call German speaking people.

I thought I'd heard she'd been arrested. Have they released her,
then?

The government wants to expel her to get rid of the whole
problem. Theoretically she can risk a long prison pain since the
Sea Watch touched a vessel of the marine. Now they found out
that apparently she comes from a rich family. This is typically
a populist way to try to bash her further in a cheap way.
What is interesting is the language of interior minister Matteo
Salvini prior to her entry in the port of Lampedusa.
« Non sbarca nessuno, mi sono rotto le palle. Lo sappia quella
sbruffoncella »
= nobody lands, I broke my balls. You know that braggadocio
(google translate).
My God, we are falling deeper and deeper in vulgarity.

What I read is that she docked her boat without permission.
Things like this are very serious offenses.
