       The Honest Man
By: Chizuko hanji Date: May 31, 2019, 7:28 am

I like to watch his show and learn English. I found such an
honest man in his show today. He is very honest as if he was a
       child.

Trevor Noah, honest? I don't know if he's an honest man or not.
What I do know is that he's another talk show host { not a very
successful one, from what I hear } who bashes Trump to try and
boost his career. To me, there's nothing novel about that. And
it certainly isn't entertaining. And remember, Trevor Noah is a
South African who comes to the US to bash a leader who he can't
vote for since he's not an American citizen. Trump's policies
don't negatively affect this guy's life in any way. He loves to
make the US big bucks while insulting the millions who voted for
Trump. It's an old game that he's pulling. Again, not
       entertaining or novel.
I've always wondered if other countries would allow an American
entertainer to come to their country and bash their leader. I
think we all know the answer to that question.

No, no. He is not. I'm saying Trump is honest. :D

Yes, that's right. I respect your comment.
I can't guess the supporters' opinions regarding Trump's
comment, but I think at least he isn't lying.

Trump is saying about missiles from North Korea, " Probably he
just wants to get attention. And perhaps not. Who knows?" I
think this comment is really really honest. Many Japanese think
the same way, but I've never heard Japanese prime minister
mentions like him. So Trump's comment surprised me a lot.
"Who knows?" Yeah, right. Nobody knows. That's why they have to
       negotiate well for world peace.

Thanks, Chizuko. I misunderstood you. I like how you think
straight and realize that Trump is an honest man. Trump is one
of the most honest presidents that the US has ever had. This
infuriates the liberal US press and most other world leaders. He
doesn't play the game of saying things that will make the public
feel good just for the sake of making people feel good. He
treats people as adults with his language. Too many Americans
want to hear warm bedtime stories when the news is bad. Trump
faces reality and tell us how it is. Twisting facts is something
that leaders have gotten used to doing. He calls things as he
sees them. Such a refreshing quality to have in a US president.
We haven't had a president this honest since the great Ronald
Reagan. Let's pray that he wins another term.

Well, the country is split 50-50 on Trump being re-elected.
Surely you caught the Cher tweet yesterday about Trump, which
she later withdrew, as going too far? And he loves Hollywood
and has an entertainment background himself, rather than
political one. He loves the entertainment industry having been
in it himself, but they don’t like’t like him there, that’s for
       sure.

No, I don't pay any attention to tweets by Hollywood twits. She
could sing back in the day. I saw Sonny & Cher in about 1972 or
three perform at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. I'll never
forget Cher walking out in a white sleeveless gown, she wore
those a lot, and that long, incredible hair.

As you know, I‘m no Trump fan, but what Cher tweeted was vulgar
and over-the-top. It reminds me of that talentless Kathy Griffin
stunt that she pulled about a year ago, which was equally
out-of-line (I saw Kathy Griffin once and thought she was a
talentless joke, with just a cult following. I even saw her up
close in a restaurant. Unfriendly, unapproachable, and she looks
nothing in person up close like she does from a distance (lots
of poorly done cosmetic surgery- a 58 year old trying to look
like a 22 year old. Nothing worse. Sorry, that doesn’t work).
They say Cher will be singing „If I could turn back time“ after
       that last tweet.
