A moral dilemma: who should be saved?
By: Aliph Date: May 23, 2019, 6:47 am

Here an interesting feature found on the net. Ingeneers are
planning algorithms for self-driving cars and have to resolve a
certain amount of dilemmas. Who should be saved, who should be
sacrificed in case of an accident?
Here the link to the website of radio Canada that illustrates
the dilemma, the article is in English with a good graphic
information

The way this article is written, as a 1970s-style video game, is
ridiculous. I can't read it. Who's their audience,
six-year-olds?

interesting!
I never thought of the moral decision making that had to go in
to making driverless cars. How do you program it to make
choices? Will there be cars programmed by PETA type people that
would run you over to miss a squirrel?

You can bet on it. And some will be programmed by pro-abortion
types to hit pregnant women. Others will sense those wild-eyed
Americans who love Israel and mow them down.

That is a pathetic comment. Supposed to be funny ? You were more
brilliant on Italki.
