When I was in the hospital, you know how they have to explain in
detail the risks of any invasive procedure, like a coronary
angiogram and a lot of other stuff (operations, anything
invasive)? The doctor said there were these various risks, but
small, and stated the percentage risk factors, and then she said
there was a very rare risk of even death (I suppose they have to
say everything). So I asked, „So, is it little like the risk of
flying Boeing‘s new 737 Max?“
She kind of laughed and said „Well, I don‘t know about that.“ ;)

Irena, and any other board vegans.
A discussion of veganism pros and cons, reasons to change etc
might get needlessly controversial (esp on this board) and I
understand if you don't want to get involved in that.
I would like to see a discussion on how you made the change, how
you keep it from getting boring or feeling deprived.
I struggle with eating vegetables, I really don't like them.
And fruit is often just too sweet to eat. I dont have too much
trouble with whole grains, not hard to convince me white bread
is the devil.
Anyway, if you feel so inclined, go ahead.

Stephan welcome back. Scary adventure at the hospital.
If you want some advice on Mediterranean diet I am sure that
Neal has some good old recipes from his Nana and I can complete
with mine.
No need to convert to veganism.
But throw away butter, cream, chips and any precooked food.
Glad you never smoked.
And stay calm and learn German.
Do you know Autogenes Training? A good German way to relax.
