       Great Movies of 1994

       This is just something random that crossed my mind because 1994
       was full of really good movies and two that are most frequently
       mentioned are Forrest Gump and The Shawshank Redemption. Forrest
       Gump won six Academy Awards the following year, while The
       Shawshank Redemption won none. Some people are convinced that
       The Shawshank Redemption was robbed at the Oscars and I can't
       say I disagree, although I'm not sure if it should have been
       awarded for Best Picture. I like both movies a lot. And let's
       not forget that there were also Pulp Fiction, The Lion King,
       Legends of the Fall, Interview with the Vampire and other
       memorable movies that year.
       So which one do like better: Forrest Gump or The Shawshank
       Redemption? Bonus question: Has anyone read the books?
