I guess these perceptions are all based on one's native tongue.
It's never once crossed my mind to say that either NZ
accented-English or South African is sexy sounding. They aren't
nearly as nauseating as Australian, so that's something, I
suppose.

Interesting the U.S. accent is divided into three - New York,
Boston and Southern. Is New York really nasally? I never heard
that characterization before.

Not just nasal, Neal, but hypernasal; their italics, not mine.
I've heard a lot of New York English of all stripes but nasal -
hyper or non-hyper - never crossed my mind as a description.

How did Chinese and Vietnamese make the list??? To me they both
sound like cats fighting. Very annoying. I'd rather listen to
fingernails on a chalkboard.
