Underrated Heroes

I don't follow popular culture but I couldn't help but notice
the great interest in Super Heroes over the past few years. The
Avengers seem to be the most popular cape-wearers at the moment.
But what about the ones who don't make it? The unsung, heroic
cape-wearing hero who seems to flirt with fame butt then is all
butt forgotten? Here's one I remember from his days as a
fledgling. Somehow his career ran out of gas. Enjoy.
