The Murderball Tournament & The MurderBall

Men,
Some of you will know Paul Barker (ex-Esher 1XV second row and
good friend on many of us). Equally some of you might not. At
the age of 34 he had his leg amputated a few months ago
following a docs finding a cancerous cyst in his knee. You can

On 24 April (a Thursday) a group of friends are planning a day
of fundraising based around two events:
1) during the day - a wheelchair rugby tournament at St Mary's
Uni - proper chairs/rules/refs etc. I'm intending to pull a team
together for this with Esher Expendables getting first shout for
selection. It's £1,500 to enter a team of 10 players.
2) in the evening - a black tie dinner is being held at
Twickrnham Stadium hosted by Inverdale with Chris Robshaw & Joe
Marler the guest speakers. Joe played with Paul for a season at
Esher. I will be arranging a table for the Expendables. Again
£1,500 for a table of ten which I'll allocate on a first to pay
basis!
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in taking part in
either or both of these fundraising events.

Men, the 24 April is fast approaching and I need to start an
firm up on numbers etc. There is a possibility that we might do
the evening dinner as a couples event. It will be a top night
and for a truly excellent cause close to the hearts of Esher
RFC. Please let me know asap if your keen to be involved.
