Stanley Cup to trump Supertramp

For classic rock fans in Vancouver, it could rank as the crime
of the century: the Stanley Cup trumping Supertramp.The National
Hockey League on Thursday released the schedule for the Cup
final, with the Vancouver Canucks hosting Game 1 of the series
on June 1 against either the Boston Bruins or Tampa Bay
Lightning.
Problem is, Supertramp, the British rock group known for hits
Give a Little Bit and The Logical Song, is slated to perform at
Rogers Arena that night. Although arena officials have yet to
make an announcement, it looks like the concert by the 1970s
supergroup (slightly less super these days, without original
frontman Roger Hodgson in the lineup) will be moved to a
different venue or simply cancelled.
Game 2 of the series is June 4 at Rogers Arena, before the
series heads east for Game 3 on June 6 and Game 4 on June 8.
Games 5, 6 and 7, if necessary, are slated for Rogers Arena on
June 10, at the Eastern Conference champs’ arena on June 13 and
back in Vancouver on June 15.
All game are 8 p.m. ET starts.

The Canucks take the Cup in FIVE ... need one loss in Beantown,
we will call that a sympathy strategy then we bring the Cup
allllllll the way home ;)
