traditionally we don't eat meat on Good Friday, so I have some
smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagles for our brunch and
pierogi with potato/cheese for dinner...traditionally we eat
mainly hard boiled eggs and pickled hearing on Good Friday, but
I didn't make it to the Polish deli...

we almost made it without eating meat today, my better half had
to have roasted turkey sandwich after dinner...broiled fish with
asparagus we had for dinner wasn't enough... ::)

I had scalloped potatoes and pico de gallo! The combination was
actually quite yummy in an oddly tasting way.
do any of you guys try weird combinations? I mean food wise of
course. :P

I like sliced kosher style pickels on toasted rye bread with
mayo and lots of fresh ground pepper... ;D

that sounds nummy...i just had a tablespoon of nutella for
supper... *goofyface*
meta...the boys luv sardines and peanutbutter with dill pickles
on toasted rye bread........................if that isn't
weird..i dunno

i had to have a nibble..and......well...it's different...but not
blecky....all THREE of them would eat it...HOW they ever came up
with that combo..i don't know... ???

a few years ago I was visiting friends in Guadalajara and they
served smoked oysters on ritz crackers with peanut butter...
my other favourite is cream cheese (farmer's style) on rye bread
with sliced radishies and chopped green onions... ;D
