my little corner of the world is busy melting.. After 7 months
of snow on the ground, its weird to see grass and pavement
again.. Ironically its supposed to snow tomorrow and the next
day.. :-[

I think the weather guys are fulla crap... at least I hope they
are. The landlord and building manger just got all the snow and
ice removed from the parking lots, walkways and patios.. We can
finally get to our bbq grill and pull it out. Depending on how
long he has to work on Sunday, Mark wants to bbq.. The landlord
gave me permission to buy some patio furniture. Snow will kind
of screw up our plans.

Marcia...I saw that in Britain they are enjoying the beaches and
+20C temps....I wish it were warmer here, but at least the sun
is shining today... :)

well the sun is out, sorta.. its 40F, but its windy and there
are some ominous clouds in the sky.. Hopefully the wind will
blow them elsewhere.. I want to go out to dinner tonight and
don't want to be driving out into the hills of Fairbanks if its
snowing.. I don't mind that drive during the day.. at night, it
tends to scare the hell out of me and if its snowing I probably
will be freaking out. .. guess its good that its still light out
till around 11 PM.. We should be home well before that time...
or at least we will be back in the city.

We are up to 18 hours of visible light here now.. it won't be
long before we have the 24 hours of light..
Darn..... thats another thing I have to do this weekend.. go hit
the home supply stores and see if I can find some roll up shades
to put on the porch so I can block the sunlight and keep the
heat off the porch..
