       Daylight Saving Time

       Begins today:
       Sunday, March 9, 2014 – Daylight Saving Time begins at 2am. Set
       clocks ahead one hour.

       This comes in on the teeth of an Alaskan Blizzard, Temperatures
       here have been down around 5 degrees So Friday when it clouded
       over and warmed up we knew we were in for a storm. No one
       however could have predicted the feet that was about to dump on
       us.
       By 8am Saturday morn it was 2 feet. By midnight 4 feet had
       fallen from our skies. It has lessened now but snow is still
       falling in a soft way and we hope by morning will have blown
       over.  Our town is blanketed and buried under the snow once
       again.
       I say this because while I am happy to only have to spend 7
       hours at work, when I go home at 8am, (which would normally be
       7am) I am highly doubtful that my landlord has plowed anything
       out, and know that I shall have to park my truck (my 4-wheel
       drive truck) in his driveway and wade through several feet of
       snow to reach my home...  Life is as always, an adventure. :D
