Ok we are gearing up here in Alaska for Iditarod 42... It starts
March 1 in Anchorage...

These dogs and mushers are awe inspiring. What they face, where
they run. Nothing like it on earth. Notice the boots on the
dogs, these are pampered pets for all their hard work.

The Serum Run, reason for the iditarod:
Leonhard Seppala
** Special Note: Seppala's lead dog was Togo in the serum run.
Balto owned by Seppala was lead dog on the team driven by Gunnar
Kaasen. Togo vs. Balto is a huge debate in Alaska. Togo ran 340
miles, Balto ran 53 miles... Togo is my personal favorite...
