I am thankful to Superstud which made me ready to roll into my n
       ew world - Karan

       It is a known fact that the TV industry is filled with ‘Karans’;
guess the name proves lucky for stardom!! And the list only gets
longer now, as one more Karan is set to storm into the hearts of
       all.
Already the winner of the reality show Superstud, and having got
an exposure with various episodic series and The Serial (Channel
V), Karan Chhabra is anticipating his first project on the big
screen- Heropanti as the second lead.
Speaking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, the cute and
good-looking actor opens up about his journey and passion in
       life.
“I started off my career as a model in Delhi and that is when I
decided to audition for Channel V’s show Dare To Date. I also
did Kidnap on the same channel. Then I did a short film
‘Cornetto Luv Reels’ on MTV and a couple of music videos,”
       states the actor.
“But the big break happened when I decided to participate in
Superstud season 1 which I went on to win. Soon Gumrah happened
followed by The Serial. It’s been around two years in Mumbai and
I am thankful that with my luck and hard work I have managed to
do work with such good banners,” he explains.
Having no backing of Godfathers and even his family, the young
boy has managed to survive in this deep sea all by himself. “My
family has no connection with the industry, and they were
completely against me joining it. But slowly they have started
accepting it, seeing how much of effort I have put into my work.
I am thankful to Superstud which made me ready to roll into my
       new world. ”
His first film Heropanti that stars Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger
will see Karan playing Rocket Singh. As he says, “It is a very
interesting character and I feel lucky to start my career with
such a big banner. And I would not like to speak much on the
character as it will be a good surprise for all my fans and
people who were looking forward to seeing me on screen.”
Talking about his first passion-dance, Karan avers, “I have been
dancing since my school days and I simply love it. I joined
Shiamak Davar’s institute and later went on to form a dance
group with friends. But I gave it up later because I wanted to
concentrate on modelling. Dance is something that I wanted to do
it for myself rather than doing it for others. It really helps
me to let my feelings flow.”
And his second passion is cars, as he adds, “Earlier I was a
bike person but then I got hooked to driving. It’s so much fun
when you go out for long drives and road trips. I really love
cars and I almost feel it’s like my second home. Once I went to
Goa with cousins from Delhi in my Audi and it was a superb
       experience.”
Karan who owns a Honda City, dreams to own a Lamborghini one day
and would like to customize his car with some special features.
“The love for my music would make me put some really good music
speakers in the car and I would love to add some special
automatic play station where one can easily play games, although
I would like to keep the exterior simple and classy,” he
       exclaims.
The handsome lad says he is humble and down to earth even after
he has tasted success. “The biggest problem in our industry is
that we are flooded with offers at times and we also see a phase
where we may just have to sit at home for months. So it’s
important to have your feet on the ground and respect whatever
work you do. Even though I am doing a film, I am open to all
kinds of good work whether it’s TV or films,” states he.
Karan who is currently single says he wants to make it big in
the industry. And with such dedication we definitely feel you
       will reach greater heights, Karan!!!
