       Dengue attacks Imran Khan’s wife Avantika

       Another celebrity figure is strike by dengue. After Ranveer
       Singh, it’s now Imran Khan’s wife Avantika Malik captured by
       dengue. Avantika had high fever for four days. First, the family
       members thought it was a regular viral fever but when they
       carried out the blood tests, she was detected with dengue.
       However, Avantika is recovering now and resting at her Bandra
       residence instead of being rushed to the hospital.
       Says Imran, “We were lucky as it wasn't anything major. She got
       a fever last week and we thought it was a regular viral. Later,
       it was diagnosed as dengue.”
       The actor who is busy promoting ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’ took few
       days leave from work but from yesterday, he is back to work and
       feeling relaxed that Avantika is better now.
       For the past couple of days, dengue registered in many
       localities of Mumbai. Bandra is highly affected by dengue.
       Ranveer Singh was admitted to hospital days back after he was
       hit by dengue. He contracted dengue while shooting ‘Gunday’ in
       Durgapur, West Bengal. The actor was admitted to hospital for
       couple of days.
       The dengue is on high in Mumbai and it was reported that
       megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently purchased an anti-dengue
       machines. It is a new gadget in the market and Big B immediately
       purchased it. The machine works effectively against
       dengue-causing mosquitoes. The machine is higher in cost but
       Amitabh who has five bungalows in Juhu opted for the machine.
