Celebs speak about the craziest pranks they played on others

There were times when we have all played pranks on someone or
the other, tricked people just for the fun of it. And yes, not
to forget the craziest ones which are often practiced on April
Fool’s Day!
And to talk about actors, people often hear how they get naughty
with their co-actors while shooting and have fun while on the
sets.
On this subject, Tellychakkar.com talks to actors about what are
the craziest pranks they have played on their close associates
and people so far.
Jay Soni: I remember one such prank when I used to go for my
dance classes. On the preceding day of one April Fool’s Day, I
paid two theatre artistes to act like cops and asked them to
raid my class. And on the appointed day, as I was nearing my
class, I saw the two artistes coming all dressed up as cops
entering my class. They started asking our teacher about the
class informing him that the dance academy was situated on an
illegal property. After hearing all this, my Sir started crying.
But slowly when I found the situation getting out of control, I
told him that we were just playing a prank. As the drama was
unfolding I recorded everyone’s expressions and we later we all
had a hearty laugh viewing the same.
Rubina Dilaik: I have not played a prank on anyone as I am not
that kind of a person. But yes, I have been subjected to quite a
few pranks which are hard to recollect as such.
Aditya Redij: I am talking of the time when I was doing this
show Na Aana Is Des Laado when I played a prank on Natasha
(Sharma) that my director and I had planned. There was this
serious scene in a hospital to be shot and as the camera rolled,
we started shooting. Suddenly I acted as if I had caught cold
and started sneezing. There was an injection on the sets that I
had pre-filled with water. I promptly reached for it and pushed
the water out of the injection into my body. Seeing this,
Natasha was all red faced. As she was on the camera, she did not
know how to react. She was in a double mind whether to continue
shooting for the scene or not. Seeing the poor thing’s face, I
got shell shocked and disgusted thinking about the prank we
played on her. We later cleared the air and had a ball of a
time.
Shilpa Anand: Well, one such thing happened way back when I was
in college. There was this very cute looking boy whom we all
adored. One day it so happened that one of my friends asked me
to give him a prank call. Then, I had a strong accent as I had
just returned from the US. Then one fine day when we were in my
friend’s terrace flat for a get together, the boy happened to
come there too. While we were talking to each other, the boy
recognised my voice and spoke to me about it. So embarrassed did
I get then that I got this feeling of jumping off the terrace.
Abhaas Mehta: I think I am not the right person for this
question, as I have never played a prank on anybody and nor have
I been subjected to it.
Daljeet Bhanot: Hear this! There was this girl among our college
group named Neha. On April Fool’s Day, we decided to play
‘treasure hunt’. Very dramatically, we gave her a chit which
said that there is this boy who loves her madly and would commit
suicide if he would not meet her at the mentioned place. We kept
her running around with series of chits; from the ice-cream
parlour, to the café and finally when we met her at the tennis
court, we disclosed to her that it was a prank we were playing
on her. She was aghast!
