So, it will be about two months before I know if my insurance
will pay for the custom orthotics prescribed by my podiatrist.
Super.

Zoner; I feel your pain. I hate the burning stabbing shooting
pain. Ugh!
I have a Morton's Neuroma on the right foot. Got a cortisone
shot about 6 weeks ago. Has helped alot, but still have pain
when I have been standing in the prep lab all day. Going to
order these, tomorrow...

Hey, Jo (where you goin' with that gun in your hand? -- Jimi
Hendrix reference), did you get these yet and if so, did they
help you?
I noticed that they're on sale for $30 and Foot Smart has a free
shipping offer right now, too.

Zoner. Inserts came and are going back. The thickness of the
silicon insert is too thick for my work shoes and it is
squishing my toes together causing them to go numb. Saw Dr Nida
today and we tried all ways to get them to work. No go. So, I am
going to go back the 23rd and get fitted for custom inserts. I
need a MUCH thinner insert but the thickness of the metatarsal
pad was good. So for me, this product does not work. :-\

Good info, Jo, thanks!
I've tried a few things with some standard gel inserts that the
woman who did the fitting for my custom inserts suggested and
everything I tried just doesn't do the trick because it just
makes my shoe too tight.
We'll see if/when I get the custom one how it does.

The parking lot where I live is full of potholes which I don't
think they intend to fix. I just took my dog out for a pee and a
short walk and since it was pitch dark out, I couldn't see well
and stepped in one of the damn holes and fell flat! Scuffed up a
hand, skinned a knee and got my fav white pants black which
better come clean! Had I broken a limb (which I'm glad I didn't)
I would file a lawsuit but I probably wouldn't get too far with
a skinned knee >:(

((( Layna )))
Do you have a lease? Maybe something in there would make them
fix the potholes?

I do have a lease but don't know if stuff like that is in there.
I will have to look. I am going to write a not very nice letter
to the manager, tho. You know my knees are full of arthritis and
painful as it is. Now one of them is all bruised :(

Maybe your neighbors need to write, also!
